Office Hours:       9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.-     Monday - Thursday
                           9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.-     Friday

If you have questions or concerns that cannot wait until your next appointment, please call the office and they will direct your enquiry to the appropriate midwife.

OUR PAGER SERVICE SHOULD BE USED ONLY FOR LABOUR OR EMERGENCIES.

WHEN TO CALL IN LABOUR. Your midwife will discuss this with you towards the end of pregnancy.

EMERGENCIES WOULD CONSTITUTE THE FOLLOWING:

Prenatally:

  • Any vaginal bleeding
  • Headache that is not alleviated by usual treatments
  • Visual disturbances
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Loss of fluid from the vagina
  • Decrease in fetal movement
  • Signs of preterm labour

Post Partum:

  • Heavy vaginal bleeding
  • Maternal fever >38
  • Offensive discharge
  • Baby concerns.
