Ottawa Breastfeeding Buddies
This Ottawa Public Health program also offers mother-to-mother support by telephone. Mothers with at least 6 months of breastfeeding experience are matched with mothers who are planning to breastfeed or just starting out. This support can continue until your baby is 6 months old. A trained breastfeeding mother can become your “buddy”, and provide telephone support, encouragement, information, or suggestions about where to get more help.
